Just got out of a +1 year relationship. What’s next?

When we met I was a 19 year old successful online entrepreneur, which meant I was making money from my phone everyday not working. We went on dates and she quit her job shortly after. We went out to eat every night for months straight and she got too comfortable doing nothing. I paid for everything and she kept smoking weed and not applying for jobs. I got her a computer and books to help her develop herself.

It got to the point where I backed myself up and said we weren’t exclusive and we should see each other less so she could focus on herself. This led to insecurity in her part. She would fake scenarios to see how I’d react. Tell me we’re done having sex forever, she’s on a dating app, all to see my reaction which wasn’t true.

She then went on to intentionally ignoring my calls. Intentionally ignoring my texts. This went on for days. And she told me we were nonexclusive. I was patient. I asked what was wrong, was reaching out again and again to communicate.

I had some girl out of the blue I hung out with before I dating this girl and she asked what I was doing. I told her to come over. We watched a movie and made out. Right after I told the girl what I did and she said she didnt wanna talk to me ever again. Her cousin hit me up with constant threats about hurting me saying I cheated on her....

I don’t really know what to think. I’ve lost a lot of respect for this girl considering when I confronted her about her cousin she said “that’s none of my business” ... well uhmmm it’s actually all of your business.

I feel like I’m making the right choice I just feel a bit down.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
