Should I initiate ?

I'm (female) not a big flirter. Rarely I go on dates. It's been one year after my breakup . I'm looking for advice. A friend I hadn't seen in over 5 years wanted to have a beer. I said yes. I was nervous. I had a small crush on him just from online. It was a complete shock that he wanted to hangout. I was most nervous because I know how much weight I've gained since seeing him last. This wasn't a date though, just a hangout I assume! I know, I'm going to hear "we're in quarantine" but we kept our distance , not very close. Anyway! We hung out for almost 4 hours. He even said when leaving to let him know if I want to hangout again but I had also blurted that out too (saying let me know if you want to hangout again). Let me tell you, I felt my weight was going to be such a factor in him being interested in me. Maybe he was just trying to be a friend? Men, what do you think?? After hanging out he's still liking my photos and viewing my stories. He's terrible at replying to text, most the time leaves me on read. But I guess my question is should I initiate another hangout ? Wait for quarantine to be lifted? Is that too much time and will make him drift away ? Is he leaving that up to me ? Ooor?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
