I'm in college and I'll build a connection with a girl, but then when I ask them if they'd like to go on a date or hang out in general it's almost always "sorry I'm too busy" and I don't know what to do

I mean, I get it. College can be very busy. But a lot of people on here have said that if they like you, they'll make time. And I'll match with these girls on tinder or meet them through a mutual friend and I'll talk to them for a while to build a connection. And then everytime (this has probably happened 5 times in a row now) they say "sorry, I have a busy schedule haha".

I mean with some of them it's not even asking for a real date, just a simple hangout. It's really killing my self esteem and I don't know what the cause of this is other than just I'm not a fun or interesting person
