I need Advice

I'm in middle school and there this guy who I used to like last year, right now i'm trying to get over my crush on him but all of my friends and his best friend say they like me. Another thing they say is that were dating or that he has asked me out multiple times but I just didn't get the hint. Me and this guy are friends or dating I don't even know anymore. I'm just going say were friends even after there have been videos of him saying he likes me I still don't believe it cause of some stuff that happened last year. And his best friend say I should talk to him more cause right now we haven't been talking as much as we used to cause I don't want to bother him. Also is it wrong to hug a guy that is just a friend cause his best friend said that I shouldn't hug this other guy when I barely talk to my crush. How do I know if he asked me out? Also how do I know if he actually likes me? My depression gets in the way of me believing if anyone likes me.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now. We hit it off and spent a lot of time together but she began to push our relationship as if there were a time clock for milestones.
