Why do some women say they didn’t kiss someone back, even when her friends know she did?

I (18M) had kissed with a girl (17F) and when asked by friends etc. she claimed she didn’t kiss back, even though she did, and her friends even saw it. Did she just regret and if so, why? She was into it up to the kiss, then seemed to regret.

Thought i should add: I’ve dated her best friend very briefly (she thinks her friend stopped it). Also, it was at a party involving alcohol.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
