Is he starting to lose interest or getting comfortable?

So long story short I met a guy on bumble we have been in the talking stage for about 6 months long distance. Our relationship was mostly through seeing each other once every two months in person and then talking on FaceTime/texting every day. Anyways I don’t want to give too much away but he recently went on vacation and where he went there was a 6 hour time zone difference. However he still kept in touch with me everyday on his vacation but I noticed his vibe was starting to change once he got there. Then fast forward his vacation ended lasted and he has started to become distant. I understand that he probably has jet-lag and he’s adjusting back to our time zone and he’s also a week behind in school. However now he’s starting to take a day to respond to my texts when he usually would only take minutes to hours. He doesn’t call me on the phone anymore, and his texts are dry and he calls me by my actual name now instead of the nickname he gave me. Somehow he always has an excuse for his disappearing acts “oh I was tired” “oh I was catching up on school work” but his phone is always in his hand. Nobody is that busy and I know even on his busiest days he used to make time for me. At first maybe I thought I was just reading too much into everything but then I stalked his twitter and saw him like a tweet that says that he feels sorry for the person that likes him bc he can’t reciprocate the feelings. I am certain that tweet was about me. Should I move on? Talk to him and ask him what’s going on or let him figure it out? Please help! My friends are saying to just ghost him but we’ve been through 6 months to just ghost (I’m 21F and he’s 21M)

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
