DD’s (15) friend (f15) is being groomed and she doesn’t know what to do

Today my DD was late coming home. She told me her friend was crying and she was trying to calm her down. She couldn’t tell me over the phone.

When she got home she told me the situation. So her friend has a hectic home life. Her mother lives in her home country and she currently lives here with her father who is never around ( he has his own issues), and her step mother, who I’ve already heard not so nice things about.

While they were all hanging out together after an exam, her uncle called her and told her he had a dream about her and that they were having sex, DD’s friend put it on speaker phone so that they could all hear. He then started asking her if that’s something she does. He continued to detail the dream and eventually she told him she had to go, and then started crying, apparently this isn it all he’s done. There was an incident where he was alone with her and put on porn for her to watch and asked if she liked it.

She’s scared and told her friends not to say anything. She said she comes from a family that won’t believe her and she’ll be blamed and shamed. If she goes to the police or a guidance councillor as my dd suggested, it will all blow up and escalate.

Since no one will be around she is supposed to go to her uncles house to spend the weekend there.

At this point even I’m not supposed to know. I told her her friend could stay here for the weekend and she can tell her parents that they’re studying for their next exam or something.

I’m worried and I’m not sure what to do, she has no other family in this country she doesn’t want anyone to tell, but we all know what the outcome is going to be. My heart is breaking for her. There has to be something I can do.

TLDR: DD’s friend is being groomed by uncle, she’s afraid to tell anyone because her family won’t believe her.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
