Tell me about your perspective on love

I'm in a new relationship after my marriage fell apart about a year ago. Things have been going very slowly with this new person, and overall it feels really different. It's easier, more intentional, calmer... It's good. But I'm rethinking my own personal definition of love. It's been years since I've told someone new I love them, and having exited a very codependent relationship, I don't think it means the same to me anymore.

I'm not in a rush to define it necessarily or say it to my SO, but I'm curious for your insight:

  1. How would you describe love and what it's like for you to love someone?
  2. How long did you wait to tell your SO you love them? If you recall, can you describe the moment a little?
