Husband angry about b-day gift, card, cake, dinner

I gave my husband of 15 years a nice barbecue grill for his big birthday. He was pissed that he had to go next door to get it. Didn't bother to look at it. Told me he thought they gave me a floor model because it was delivered assembled. Then he stashed it in the farthest corner of the garage, saying he can't use it til we move out of the city someday, or it'll get stolen. We keep separate money and have no debt, so it wasn't the expense he was upset about.

Everything else irritated him, like my writing too much inside the card (wrote that he had a lot to look forward to, etc.). He never thanked me for the expensive gift, nor for the card or for cooking him his favorite meal or for baking him a cake from scratch. I'm so hurt and angry. Who acts like that toward someone they love?
