First time anal tips?

So I am curious about anal sex and want to try it badly but I am scared. I've looked into it before but the penis are always so big and the guys just push it in! Ignoring the fact that doing it with someone I trust is needed, what tips would the more seasoned professionals give to a first timer? I have a beaded toy (starts off as a small bead and gets bigger the deeper you go). That works from time to time, I also have a small dildo and I absolutely cannot get it to go in there!

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
