Becoming more and more frustrated with the dating atmosphere

I was supposed to go on a date tonight. I usually try my best to have interesting conversation with girls I meet on dating apps. With this girl, I started with a clever opener, and conversation flowed. We were both quick witted and humorous, and quickly led to setting up a date. Having some free time on my hands I thought I’d put effort into the date and did just that. Went to message her this morning to confirm the date and she had ghosted (blocked) me. The last message I got was her saying she was looking forward to the date. This is not the first time this has happened. It’s even happened with women I’ve approached irl. I’m 6’6”, athletic, and have been told by plenty of women that I’m funny and attractive. I really don’t get why this keeps happening. Anyone have any advice?
