After a great 3rd date...

I (24F) matched with this guy (46M) on CMB. He’s from a similar background to me - got grad degrees and a good job. His profile says he’s traveling a lot but is now looking for something long term/meaningful.

On first coffee date, I was interested in him but couldn’t read him, and he ended it after 30 mins to go back to work so I just said “I’d love to see you again” and tried to forget about it. So when he scheduled our second date a week later I was pleasantly surprised. We got lunch and went back to his place (nearby) where he made moves on me physically but I asked to wait and he said “of course.” I felt very safe and comfortable around him.

Ever since date #2 he started texting me everyday something along the line of “hey sexy/cutie, hope you have a good day.” I casually mentioned a cool, somewhat expensive show and he went and got us tickets for date #3. We met, got drinks, and both enjoyed the show. He said this wouldn’t be our last time going out so we could see a different show next time. He put his hands on my thighs and I rested my head on his shoulder, and we kissed - point is, I tried to show I was receptive through body language since I was really touched by his thoughtfulness.

After the show, it was ~11pm on a Friday night (last Friday night) so he said let’s hang another time that weekend. On my way home I texted him to thank him for the show and wish him a good night, saying it was too bad that he was tired because I wanted to continue cuddling him. He said he felt the same and apologized for being sleepy.

So, on Saturday I asked if he was feeling better - no response. I waited and Sunday I texted that I hope things are okay and I was thinking of him. It is now Tuesday and he hasn’t responded either.

I guess I’m a little dumbfounded if a guy would disappear after a few great dates and BEFORE things escalate physically? I’ve been told I’m attractive so i can reasonably guess that he’s attracted to me since he always initiated physical contact on our second and third date. But... I’m so confused lol - always thought mature guys are more stable and decisive about what they want than guys my age. Also, on date #2 he and I discussed dating in our city (big city) and I said I don’t understand why people ghost each other - that I’m mature and can take the truth. So... I think he knows my stance on that.

Question - should I send a Hail Mary text next week after this weekend (when he’s out of town)? Or should I wait? I already texted him twice 😂😅
