How do I (34m) let a girl know I'd like to hookup without being weird, creepy, out awkward?

I'm out of state working with a bunch of people from all over the country in a temporary job where we will all be going sperate ways in three months. There's girls here I'm attracted to. How do I find out if they would be interested in a hookup while we're here without coming off creepy, a perv, or just plain awkward. Also, what age limit is too young to approach about a hookup without looking like a creep. Most people here are in their early to mid 20s.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
