Dismissal. Most of the time they don't really believe that it's a thing and either insinuate that I must have sexual trauma (even DOCTORS are saying this garbage) or as though it's some fad an alienated queer kid made up on Tumblr. It's really depressing and you'd think medical professionals would be familiar with it but apparently not; as that's where I tend to get the most doubt.
