Can someone provide insight into my [F22] relationship with [M21]

I met a great guy on Tinder in January and he took me out to dinner for our first three dates. Since then, I've been seeing him roughly once every two weeks...but we always stay in, watch a movie, and then have sex. He never stays the night and I never stay the night either - it has never been brought up. I was okay with how casual everything was early on as I had plans to move to a different state in early May and he knew this from the beginning.

However, we texted every few days and when we were together, he was really intimate and extremely sweet (forehead kisses, cuddling for hours after sex, etc). Late April comes, and I tell him I'm no longer moving. But again neither one of us addresses anything at all, and I see him three times in May. I am traveling for work now (June 1st-Aug 5th) and our texts are sporadic at best (partly my fault - he's initiated but I'm not good with small talk texts, help?).

I want to get to know this person better and maybe even have a real relationship, but I don't know how to bring that up or if its even possible. Neither one of us talked about things such as exclusivity, etc so I don't even know if he'd be interested. Thoughts?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
