Getting to know a crush

Long story short, I’m developing a bit of a crush on a nice girl from one of my classes (we’re both 19) after we had a few chats on social media (after I asked if she needed the notes from the class she missed, the convo kinda kept going). This happened last Thursday, and class isn’t until tomorrow afternoon so we haven’t had a chance to speak in person yet. I want to save some good conversation questions for a in person chat, and I want questions that will give her plenty to talk about. We did some basic “get to know you” questions such as hobbies and what not. My main worry is tomorrow just being a quick exchange, tomorrow is the last class outside of the final so I want to make an impression that would lead to us having a reason to talk after the semester ends. I really want to get to know her better, but last thing I want to happen is me getting in my head and missing an opportunity to do so.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
