How do I approach this girl

So there’s a girl I’ve liked for a couple of years now. I want to know how to start a conversation with her. I’m super extroverted and approaching random people and talking to them I’m usually good at and I can hold a conversation for long periods of time pretty easily but idk how to jut randomly go up to her and talk because I know very little about her. Her Instagram account has no posts an just says in her bio that she likes gaming and art. I love gaming but it’s not my favourite thing ever and I know nothing about art. And the only time I see her is at lunch when she is with her friend and I am with mine. (And sometimes I even skip lunch to get some work done in the auto shop.) And the final thing is that a year and a half ago I messaged her on ig about her profile picture of her dog that looked like my cousins and I have never gotten a response. Do I just let it go now? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
