I was describing my view on human bodies while discussing art. (It could be summed up as “oddly shaped meatbags of varying proportions”)

She looked baffled for a bit and asked if I was asexual.

I immediately laughed it off, then stopped just as suddenly, thought for a few seconds, realized it made a lot of my life’s choices make sense, then told her I had to think on it. A few days later, I told her that she was right.

Difficulty level: Raised in a conservative family, it was never presented as an option, and I was in the military before DADT. Sooooo, it took awhile to figure it out, and I wish I knew sooner because I destroyed several mens’ hearts along the way.
