My bf isn't dominating enough in bed

ive been with my bf six years and our sex has been better and worse we've had really great sex one day and maybe the other not so much with I guess is normal but I think I just wish my bf was more leading in bed...hes more shy and although we've been together for a long time I feel like hes not so confident or whatever. there's been times where he has been freakier but like hes not consistent. he always wants me to hop on top and when hes horny hell just try to pulll me on top. like its annoying I feel like he doesn't initiate it as much or isn't as aggressive. my ex was super freaky and dirty and I know I shouldn't compare but I do like a more leading man in the bed...any girls have advice on changing this or what to do

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
