So I recently got tested and results said I had HSV type 1

Doctor put in the note “No further action.” I have also looked into it and apparently over 60% of people have it. So in regards to just not being sexually active if I ever get a cold sore (I have never had one) what do I need to do or should do in general and in regards to starting new relationships.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
