Have your sexual preferences changed over time?

Not necessarily talking about sexual orientation, but more about roles, sexual interests, behaviour and so on.

For example, I used to be very dominant in bed, but months ago I got rid of all my toys and stopped having sex. I am very passive and submissive now; I don't want to put any effort. I want to start having exclusively PIV when I get in the mood to be active again, but that will take me a few years to happen. Until then, I need to cope with very limited self-pleasure.

The difference between being right and being understood

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
