Concerned I may have caught a STD? I have no idea what is going on.

Within the last few weeks I have become sexually active with a friend of a few years, nothing more than that. The first time we had hooked up I even took plan B the following day as I did skip one of my pills a week before due to being away from home for work. Better to pay the $50 and be safe than sorry. We did not use a condom.

I take my birth control religiously and it has never failed me in the 10 years I have been taking it, despite missing one here and there and the almighty has yet to strike me.

Well within the last 3 - 4 days I have been dealing with some nausea and really bad bowel movements. Like lower cramping, frequent bowel movements. No vomiting and the nausea is tolerable. Now this didnt really throw up any flags because I also have IBS, it runs in my family and running to the bathroom after a meal is pretty typical for me.

My period isn't due until next week and here I am again worrying half to death that I could be pregnant and that my pill finally failed me. I also google more than I should and think some of my symptoms may be an STD.

Regardless, I have an appt. on Thursday to get some answers but I guess I'm just curious what everyone has to say?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
