She told me she wanted to see me still, but proceeded to ghost me right after?

So this girl I was seeing for about 2 months texted me a few days after the last time we hung out. This was before the holidays and she said how she thought I was super sweet and liked me, but didn't want a serious relationship, and didn't want to string me along. I replied saying that I am happy to take things slow, and asked her if she wanted to still see me or if we should just move on, to which she said she wanted to still see me and hangout after the holidays. At first I was super happy about that, but ever since she said that I have been getting ghosted from her, sent her a text, no response, about a week later I send another small text and no response. So it is fair to see this is the end. But why did she do this? I clearly asked if she wanted to move on or not and she told me she wanted to hang out still, only to ghost me right after. I guess I am slightly annoyed, but more so confused than anything.
