She chose her ex over me but recently texted me again.

Hooked up with this girl a few times and I started to really like her, but she got back together with her ex when he asked her back two weeks ago. I felt crushed, and just told her to hit me up if she changes her mind. Since then she has posted pictures on Facebook with whom I believe to be her ex. I had started moving on as well, meeting new girls and hanging out with friends. Just today, she texted me in response to a Facebook story post about my lunch. Her pictures with her ex are still up.

I don’t know how to take this initiative on her part. Is she available now for me to ask to meet up? Should I ignore the message? Maybe she just likes food?

Any advice is appreciated.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
