How many dates do you usually wait till you sleep together?

Hey everyone 33 y/o male and 33 y/o female. I just went on a third date with woman I've been seeing about an hour ago. The whole relationship has been pretty text book. First date went for coffee, second date was dinner and a walk where we just kissed, and the third date was out for lunch and watched a movie at my place.

I don't like to expect anything so I'm not disappointed but thought we might have taken it a bit further this afternoon. But it was only a few brief make outs. I didn't really get the drift she wanted to take it further so I did not.

But how many dates do you usually go on before sleeping with someone? I've had one night stands and dated a ton. But it was more in my 20s not my 30s so not really sure what it's like thank you.
