Do you add their socials if they’re in their bio?

Basically, on dating apps I come across people that leave social tags in their bio. Do you want to add them? Are they doing this just for more followers? Let’s say you do message them, do you message them with a sort of pickup line like you would on the app? Or just like a hey? You’re on X app? And also, should they need to match for you to add them on their socials or do you just add before you match?

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
