Men's standards are disgustingly low

Not speaking for myself. Not even speaking for every man. But there is a huge section of the male population who has disgustingly low standards. I say it is disgusting, not because it bothers me that people accept to be with someone not quite as attractive as they are, but because 1) It's not reciprocal. Women in general aren't willing to date men much less attractive than them, unless they're rich 2) I honestly believe it creates an unbalance that harms society.

Pretty much every time i go to a public place i see several couples where the girl is a 4 or 5 at best and the guy is easily a 7. Plenty of short, chubby girls with tall and in-shape dudes. The opposite it's very, very, very rare. It does exist, but it's not something i see everyday. I rarely see an hot girl dating a short, chubby 4/10 guy. It just doesn't happen that often.

I see on a regular basis guys who are better looking than me dating girls that, to be honest, are less attractive than i am, and that i would most likely not date, just like those same girls wouldn't date someone 2 or 3 levels below them. Today i found out that a guy i know, who is easily a 7.5/10 23 yo, super athletic, tall, very handsome, is dating a girl who is 13 yo older than him, very, very short and very, very, very fat. I mean, why, dude? Is it her personality? Of course...it just seems like it's never the man's personality.

Again, i don't see a problem with this. I see a problem with not being reciprocal. It would be great if both men and women just didn't give a fuck about looks and dated people purely based on other factors, but i only see men doing that. It's just very rare to see women lowering their standards and going for someone that's much less attractive than they are.
