Do I need to kneel?

I (m24) found the courage to open up to a friend about having only one (traumatic )sexual experience where the main problem was the fact that I wasn’t able to put it in because I couldn’t find the right angle. He has the tendency to want to help people ( which I’m grateful af for having him as a friend) and told me that the trick is to put the leg up as close as possible to the body so the vagina will automatically go up. Also is it better to kneel on the bed for optimal penetration? I’m afraid that another bas sexual performance would ruin my mental state for a long time (as the previous did) and refrain me from doing anything

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
