Pegging: dildo feels like it’s dragging while I use it.

So I’ve spent the last two weeks preparing to get pegged and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The two sizes butt plugs I have feel great, no pain, and a dildo (5.5 insertable 1.25” diameter) besides a very mild (I can’t stress enough how mild) discomfort the first inch it enters my butt after that it’s nice! Still feels a little weird like I gotta fart while it’s in but I attribute that to something going the wrong way down a one way street so to speak. That’s all the background I’ve got about what I’m feeling, here’s my issue:

The dildo feels like there’s some resistance while I ride, penetrate myself, whatever with it. It doesn’t hurt, but I imagined it would be much smoother. I have a lube injector and I’d say I end up injecting 20-30 mL of lube and then whatever is on the toy before it goes in. I don’t think it’s drying up cause when I’m done plenty of it ends up coming out after. Is it possible I need more lube? I can’t imagine I’d need more than 30 mL for just a few minutes of play.
