Anyone who truly loves you is going to love you no matter what. Your dad might be disappointed for a bit, but that’s his issue. If you lose a friend over being true to yourself, then perhaps they weren’t that good of a friend to begin with. My daughter came out to me in a store at the age of 12. My response, “Cool. Now what do you want for supper?” I already knew her and her sister’s orientation. I didn’t need them to tell me. I’m their mom nothing is going to change how close we are nor how much I love them. Much support and love to you!
