How to tell a date that you want to make the first move?

I (24F) really want to make the first intimate move. I’ve been on several terrible online dates where I end up kissing the person because it was too uncomfortable not to. It takes me awhile to warm up to people and most of the time I don’t want to kiss on a first date. I would rather kiss them when I felt some kind of spark or hunger. Plus, it turns me on to make the first move. I’m usually very nervous on dates and it’s such an adrenaline rush to push pass that and just fucking kiss them. After that first kiss, idk who makes what move. I think there’s a level of consent and comfortability that I feel when I make the first move. Feeling obligated to do anything intimate is the biggest turn off and kissing them first takes that feeling of obligation away. When should I mention this? How should I word it? Would you feel awkward if your date asked if they could make the first move?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
