If a partner does something you don't like in bed, how do you respond?

If a guy does something I don't like, then what is the best response? I feel very nervous about this because a guy doing something I dislike is my worst nightmare.

But I have spoken to guys who are really into being dominant and it just freaks me out. I never told them I wanted to sub.

But I kind of feel like I can't say no, because most men are much larger than I am. It's very intimidating...
