He won't give me 5 min rides?

I have been engaged for 4 years. Last year I suffered a serious head injury and was unable to work for a whole year. Finally I got a new job a 5 min drive away. I have been working there for a few months. He is not working but is helping pay Bill (savings)

He refuses to drop me off or pick me up at work due to me not depending on him once he gets a job and because he is not a cab or taxi service. The 3 times he had dropped me off I had to beg him. I am accused of using him?Am I being insane for this being a real issue to me. Just everyone else I know goes out and beyond with their loved one on relying on them. He gets so mad/stubborn at me when I ask.

Growing Up my family always helped however they could. They would always make sure the other one had an easier life no matter what. Including my sister driving me 45min a day to college. Of course we made sure that the other person did not have plans or anything. We didn't take advantage of each other but we always helped. Of course I would never put anyone in a tough spot if they actually were not able to. I mean it has always come from our hearts to be kind to the other person.

Am I making this into a bigger deal/being ridiculous for this bothering me?

Tl;dr my fiance won't give me rides to and from work while he is unemployed. It's only 5 mins away and he becomes incredibly defensive when asked.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
