Blowing up my phone before the date!

I’m 32 male, pretty successful when I’m using dating apps but never find anything long term. My game plan of exchanging 3 or 4 messages and then asking if girls want to hang out or grab a drink works fantastic! I’ll make definite plans with the plan of confirming the day of, or sometimes the day before. I don’t really plan or like to chat much in between for fear of texting something dumb. My issue is that a lot of these girls blow my phone up asking all the questions I would rather answer on the date in the mean time! A lot of the times I either flake or they flake when this happens. Am I gonna sound like an asshole if I say something like “hey! Let’s talk about all this in person when we meet up”?
