I tried to kiss a girl but she rejected it

Hi, hope you are having a smooth day.

Tonight i was on a tinder date. We met for beers at a cool bar and I thought she was a really pretty and interesting person. We had very much in common and conversations where flowing really good. After about 3 hours i said that I was thinking of going home since its late but she could join for a joint if she wanted. She agreed to join me.

We went to my place and then outside on a bench in the park. We were sitting close together under the umbrella in the rain and smoking. I really felt like kissing her so i did. She didn't kiss me back, and said that its too fast for her, she likes to get to know people better before kissing etc. I told her that I understand, and that I tried to kiss her because I think she was very pretty. She told me I was pretty too, and that I was a cool person. It was a bit awkward for a minute, but we managed to keep the conversation going ok and talk about other stuff.

She then said that it was time for her to go home, but she would like to meet me again. I followed her to the tram and hugged her goodbye, and she said again that she would like to hang out some other time.

The feeling I got afterwards was very bittersweet. I really liked her and want to meet her for a second date, but it makes me feel a bit awkward that I tried to kiss her.

Do you have any advice on what I should do about it?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
