Is touch absolutely necessary for flirting?

I met this girl at orientation for law school last week. We started talking the first day and it came up that my birthday was the third day of orientation. Everyday she saw me she’d remind me and get all smiley. When I walked in on my birthday she got all excited and smiled and shouted happy birthday. It was a whole scene. Anyway, we are in all the same classes now and she’ll come sit by me in the 1 without assigned seating. She asked for my number (potentially just because we have classes together but a lot of people have the same classes we do). She literally always says hi/bye to me when we’re passing. We talk outside of class, walk to our cars together frequently, and everything seems great. Her body is always turned toward me, she plays with her hair, we laugh and it’s a good time. I’ve gotten to know a lot about her. She always keeps conversations going, asks me questions, etc. We tease each other in conversation but there’s never much physicality involved. We have touched in a fist bump, handshake, accidentally while going up stairs, but there’s no playful touches yet. I went to nudge her arm one time while talking and missed. She didn’t pull away or anything as I was doing it though. Is that a clear sign that she’s not into me like that and we’re just friends? Is she waiting for me to really make that move first? Can I ask her to casually get drinks without knowing?
