Good sign or not

Two weeks ago I [M25] transferred into a different class in order to make my school schedule work better. Anyways I waited til someone else got to class and asked them what seats were still free. I ended up asking this girl [F22] who told me the seats around her were free. We talked a little, we both transferred from the same community college and she seemed really cool. Since then we've talked pretty much everyday in class and a little bit outside through the online learning platform for the class (she immediately went to me to be partners for a project)

This last Thursday I asked her if she was free the next day to get coffee. She said was actually really busy that day so I offered her my number or to find her on Facebook so we could figure something out (that way she wasn't under pressure to give me hers) and instead she just offered to give me her number.

I get the feeling this is a good sign but I'm incredibly bad at reading situations like this, so I'm afraid I'm just misreading things in the way I want them to be.

My (27f) gf (27f) is getting tired of me not sharing intimate/ personal info about me

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
