Girl I'm dating doesn't initiate physical contact (yet)

So I've been seeing this girl for just over a month, and I'm crazy about her. We've been ona few dates, kissed once, it's nice!

Only thing is that so far, every hand hold, hug, etc. has been initiated by me. I know that she likes me, that's not what I'm worried about. I'm just wondering how long it might take before she starts holding my hand, grabbing my arm, etc.

It's not a huge deal, we aren't even official yet, I'd just like to be touched a little. She's a bit shy. Do you guys have experience with this kinda thing? Any tips?

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse. She had just gotten out of an engagement with a verbally and physically abusive man who had a cocaine problem. We have been together about 8 months now.
