Period in EVERY 2 WEEKS ! (After the first sex)

I lost my virginity 3 months ago, i had a light spotting after the first sex and i had sex again the other day. I haven't had sex after that 2 attempts but two days after the second sex, i got my period (at the beginning it looked like an actual bleeding but then it became a period, i think). After that i'm having my period in every two weeks (with the usual cramps and everything i had before having sex). I've also noticed some brown discharge while having bath. I haven't had any other symptoms or troubles, I've even done a pregnancy test despite my periods, and it was negative. So the main problem is my period which, for some reason, comes in every 2 weeks!
What may be the reason of that? Has anyone had this kind of experience? Any thoughts?
(I couldn't make an appointment to doctor till now , but I definitely will, just curious of any of your thoughts and advices..)

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
