/u/darmeg on Did an allyship workshop describe demisexuality weird? Or am I overreacting?

It was just demisexuality that he described this way. It was a while ago so I don't remember the specifics, but I'm sure he affirmed that sexual orientations are not a choice at the beginning of the workshop, so I'm not sure why he singled out demisexuality.

Maybe because it's functionally different from other sexualities in that an emotional bond needs to be made first? It just stood out to me.
