Is it simply impossible to find women who don't want pets?

I don't want to share my living space with a dog, cat, ferret, bunny rabbit, etc. I'm perfectly fine with something small or very low maintenance. I've had a bunch of snakes and tarantulas. I just do not want to have pets that demand my time and attention beyond that. I'd call myself "petfree", but a look at the subreddit for that designation shows nothing but bitter assholes who think pet ownership is some kind of mental illness. This is not me. I will play with dogs all day...outside. I'd help an animal that was injured or in trouble. I don't view pet owners with disdain.

I simply do not want to be responsible for them, or have them in my living space. Hard dealbreaker. As in, I'd rather die single than have one. Is this basically my inevitable fate?
