Black gold? WTF? Gold is expensive and so soft it will scratch very easily. If you don't want something that looks like gold, there's no point in using it. Tungsten carbide, OTOH, is cheap and virtually indestructible. They make drill bits out of it for drilling into things that would destroy a steel bit.
I have a tungsten carbide ring with a brushed metal finish that should theoretically be very easy to damage, but I've been wearing it every day for months and it looks brand new. None of the other rings I've tried have held up nearly as well.
I keep seeing these advertised on Facebook. If only they offered them with the stones in more appropriate colors it would be the most badass ace ring ever. Maybe we should contact them and point that out?
