A guy I was friends with said some sexist shit and I think he didn’t realizes it. I would like to bring it up on the phone next time but how?

I had a HUGE crush on him and he gave me his number. So for now I say we are “friends” but clearly we are seeing what might be there

anyhow, in our 4 hour conversation was actually really cool in many ways. But in between He said a few things but in a tone where he seemed like a guy who is literally socially absent minded and actually thinks real life is like this. I was so shocked and he said all this so nonchalantly and he talked so fast and jumped subjects that I couldn’t process my feelings or didn’t want to get upset. I feel he could be open to correction. He talks soft spoken and not douchey

Anyhow here is what he said:

“ The me-too movement ruined everything for men. I’m afraid to even talk to women. I could end up having my life ruined even if I didn’t do anything. All anyone has to say is that I did it even if I didn’t. When I hear rape stories I wait for the facts to come out. And do women think assault only happens to them? It happened to me too and men don’t talk about it. I don’t feel male victims are thought of and included in this movement “

LIKE WOW. Wtf??? I mean seriously, all I can think is he thinks the number of assaults women talk about must mostly be fake. It sounds like it is because for some men it is the first time hearing about how bad it has been for women since time eternal and therefore it’s all probably a witch hunt to some of them. No way would so many assaults be talked about and reported unless it was all made up I guess in his mind. Because it should be obvious what is pervy and harassment or assault vs talking to a girl in a normal way. And just because once in a while women lie (like all humans do) most sexual assault survivors are not lying. Being told “there is no proof. Maybe they are lying” is what he comes across like. Rape is hard to prove but we SHOULD BELIEVE MOST WOMEN! Why would women go through the emotional rollercoaster of getting a rape kit or going to the police to tell strangers about sexual details that already have traumatized them for?

And no one from the metoo movement said male victims should not speak up

Next he said

Women age like bananas. Men age like fine wine. Women hit the wall. Women have more leverage when young and they turn men down a lot and then the tables get turned on them when they get older. It’s just nature “

WTF?!!!! Sounds like he’s mad women exercise their choice to say NO just like men do too if they’re not interested in women? And many hot men get bald and fat later and some women look beautiful in older age like J.Lo ffs. Also there is MORE TO WOMEN than their youth. Another thing is, does he really think men over 40 are gonna all nail and have leverage over a 25 yr old woman just because some can thanks to having $$$$$$$ or because maybe young women are sometimes forgiving of looks in older older men because they are in love, and his wrinkles don’t bother them (just like mature men don’t let wrinkles make them love their aging wives less or find them less sexy).

But even if it is true, there is more worth to women than their looks

I kinda want to say all this to him but without curse words and in a more “debate” way without yelling or anything.
