Friendly PSA: unsolicited nudes are creepy regardless of gender

Please please please people ask for consent before sending pictures of you nude. And respect when people may decline.

I had been texting with a woman I met through Bumble recently. Conversation was flowing easily and smooth. I asked her if she'd like to go out next weekend for a drink and she countered the offer with "how about you just come over tonight?". I was flattered by the proposal, but not too keen on going to a random womans house who I've never met in person before. I told her I'd rather wait until next weekend after we got a chance to talk more in person. She then proceeds to send me 3 nude pictures and says "does this change your mind?".

Well, yes it did. I no longer have any desire to meet with her because she didnt ask before sending those kinds of pictures, which honestly made me feel disrespected and creeped out. I called her out on doing it too, saying how gross and creepy that was and then telling her off.

So please, at least ask and get permission before sending naked pictures of yourself to others. Dont assume someone will be automatically receptive to them.
