She (24 f) doesn't want to keep doing the romantic thing...?

I (25M) met a girl (24 f) about 3 ish months ago and we kicked it off pretty great. For probably a month and a half I would see her every week multiple times a week sometimes. Had probably one of the strongest good vibes I've had with someone for a while. Anyways over the last 3 weeks or so we've had busier schedules and I haven't really been able to see her as much as I had previously. The weekend before she just got back from being out of town, and wanted to see if I was free on a night I worked. She seemed very eager to see me. Fast forward to last weekend we met up for some beers but it didn't turn into sex that night since she said she was going to be busy the next morning.. Then last night we met up again after talking about it last weekend so we could perhaps meet up for a funner night. Anyways we met up for drinks and then we seemingly had really good chemistry on this date going, but towards the end, she went to the bathroom for a bit and then came out and we started talking to each other again and she took my hand and said you're gonna hate me for this but I don't want to keep doing this romantic thing, bit can we keep coming out for beers? Then I don't really remember what I said other than not being to reactive or angry and was like OK. Anyways we hung out for a little longer and were finishing our beers, I kissed her a few times during this after that discussion and she reciprocated, then when we were done I offered to walk her to her car but ended up not. Anyways we never really labelled what our relationship was, so I'm not sure what to do from here besides self betterment and ceasing contact. I'm curious as to why she in a way broke up with me. Since she wasn't my "girlfriend" officially I guess she perhaps felt the pressure that it was headed this way and doesn't want that, yet at the same time she still wants my company it sounds like. I can't just be her friend so I'll let her know but I don't see a future with her being just a friend.
