Getting mixed signals from girl i'm seeing. Told her i liked her, got an unenthusiastic answer. Not sure how to move forward.

We've been seeing eachother for like 3 weeks now, and have met quite often. We have already spent the night together a few times, but she has been hesitant on having sex. My problem isn't the lack of sex, but the fact that she makes makes me feel in doubt about her interest on some small things and it's driving me crazy. I know i'm probably just overthinking stuff, but i just wish i could get some more reassurance. Sometimes on our dates she just seems reluctant to kiss me. Like, she has excuses not to kiss, and it puts me off a bit. Like, she was with me tonight, and when i went in to kiss her she just pulled away and said "she didn't want to make me sick" (she had been ill a few days prior to our meeting and was still a bit under the weather). I told her i didn't care and that i usually never get sick, but it didn't matter. I understand her reasoning, but it just made me look dumb trying to kiss her and her pulling away like that. Especially when this isn't the first time it has happened. Makes me look like i'm desperate or something. She has no problem with cuddling. She is crazy about cuddling, and when she was with me tonight we were cuddling during the movie and for a long time after. She also has no problem with me fooling around under her shirt and stuff like that either.

Tonight when she was with me, i had decided before meeting her that i wanted to show some emotion towards her, because i'm really starting to like her, and i want some progress. Here's how the convo went:

Me: Hey you?
Her: Yeah?
Me: I like you a lot.
Her: Mhm..
*10 seconds of silence*
Her: Well that's good i guess..
*5 seconds of silence*
Me: Do you feel the same?
Her: Mhm..

Like, do you see what i mean? It just made me sit there wondering if she really likes me or what, and i felt stupid for saying what i said. I wanted the convo to turn towards discussing if we are on the same page, but i just gave up when hearing her unenthusiastic answers. This weekend we met at the local bar when we were both out with friends, as as soon as i went over to her she was all over me. Kissing me in front of many people, holding my hand and we went back to her place. She has expressed on text several times that she likes to be with me, and she snapchats me all the time. But i'm getting a bit frustrated with the inconsistency of it all. I want to start moving forward, i want something else other than us spooning for 2 hours. I don't know how i should convey this to her, without sounding like i'm desperate or needy.
