Skin condition affecting my intimacy :/

I just started seeing this guy. I like him a LOT. however over the past year ive developed psoriasis on my vag :( when it flares up, its itchy and painful and im so afraid of being intimate cause im afraid he will think its gross. how do i bring it up and tell him about it without freaking him out?
