I had sex with a different guy and now I’m curious

So, I (25F) was in a relationship of 7 years and my ex was my first man. I had sex only with him, but we broke up a few weeks ago and I had this opportunity of getting laid with this other guy. We had a few drinks (mostly vodka), started to make out and stuff. But, his penis didn’t get 100% hard, and I got confused because my ex used to get really hard everytime, even if he was a bit drunk. I felt that he was enjoying, feeling lots of pleasure, but I had to work hard to get a 90% erection.
My doubt is: is this something common when men drink? Or was I the problem? I don’t think that I am, but I got a bit worried.
