What does this mean!?

I feel SO silly posting this question but it's kind of been eating at my brain.

I've been talking to this guy for over a month now. At the beginning of us talking we established we weren't looking for anything serious at the moment. We both got out of long time relationships fairly recent so we agreed to enjoy being single but also enjoy each others company.

Anyway, he's only ever called me by my name and this Sunday he started calling me hun. I'm pretty sick at the moment so he's been checking in on me, calling me to see how I'm feeling and just being extra sweet. He is ALWAYS so sweet to me but extra this week that I've been sick. What does it mean when a guy calls you hun? He's 33 and I'm 28, i've never been called hun so I'm not sure. LOL, it feels flirty but some of my friends say it can be in a friendly way too.

Not sure if this matters but we've gone on a couple of dates and he always initiates kissing, hand holding and cuddling. Along with other things but I'm talking more the romantic side of things, lol. We've talked on the phone for hours at least once a week. He told me deleted all his dating apps and said he wants to focus on himself but continue hanging out with me and seeing me. I guess it just has me a little confused cause I know we agreed to just dating with no commitment a month ago but a part of me feels things are starting to slowly get serious. Which I don't consider a bad thing I just want it to happen naturally (as it has so far). I also don't want to ask just yet and potentially lose a good thing we have going on.

Anyway, I just want the opinion of someone on the outside looking in.

I’ve always been extremely private and introverted. My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
