What do people mean when they say they have x amount of sex?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I see a lot of people on the sub say they have lots of sex or don’t have sex at all anymore. Its confusing to me. Does that mean penetrative sex, oral sex, or touching?

For example my partner and I don’t always have penetrative sex, but we have a lot of oral sex and sexual touching. I often feel guilty that we don’t have enough penetrative sex, especially since I see a lot of people say they have tons of sex. I feel like I do too, but I’m not allowed to think I do because it’s not penetrative. I just don’t know what category to put myself in. Also those who also say they aren’t having sex anymore what does that mean to them?

I just wonder if I’m thinking about this all wrong. I just feel so much guilt and don’t want to feel alone in this. My bf assures me he is happy with us, but I still can’t get over not being good enough for him sexually.

My (23M) girlfriend (25F) relationship is confusing to me. I might be the problem, or maybe we are just incompatible.

I met my girlfriend after a few serious breakups that led me to change both intentionally and unintentionally over a few years. For better and for worse.
